Rosé made an incredibly successful comeback with "APT."
Fans of Rosé were recently overjoyed as the song "APT" – a collaboration between the singer and Bruno Mars – officially entered the Top 10 of this week’s Billboard HOT 100 chart.
According to the data released, "APT" achieved 25 million streams, 14,000 sales in the U.S., and 3.2 million radio impressions last week, which secured Rosé and Bruno Mars the 8th spot on this week’s Billboard HOT 100. This achievement also made BLACKPINK’s lead vocalist the first K-pop female solo artist to debut a song with the highest rank in history.
In addition to the #8 spot on the Billboard HOT 100, "APT" also claimed the #1 spot on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. US Chart last week.
In response to the newly set record, Rosé couldn't hide her happiness, sharing on her Instagram story: "Oh my gosh, what is happening? This is crazy. Thank you so much, Blinks, this is for you. This is my dream come true."

The previous highest ranking for a female K-pop artist on the Billboard HOT 100 was BLACKPINK’s collaboration with Selena Gomez on the song "Ice Cream," which reached the 13th spot in 2020. With the success of "APT," Rosé officially broke that record, setting a new milestone for herself and the group.
Rosé becomes the first female K-pop artist to enter the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100
Additionally, Rosé became the fifth K-pop artist in history to enter the Top 10 on the Billboard HOT 100, following BTS, Jimin, Jungkook (all of whom reached #1), and PSY (#2). This achievement further solidifies the global influence of K-pop, which has been widely popular around the world in recent years.
It is known that "APT" serves as the lead single for Rosé’s upcoming studio album. The name "APT" is inspired by the popular Korean drinking game "Apartment," often played during social gatherings to create a lively and fun atmosphere.
